How did our love story take off?
 

We met onstage, in a production of ‘Legally Blonde’. Sophia was Elle Woods, and Kai was the understudy for her on-stage love. Two shows in, we were inseparable best friends, though everyone else could see that it was so much more.

 

On a weekend trip to Mt Hood, we officially began our love for travel and each other. Less than a year (and 5 countries) later, Kai proposed to Sophia on a black sand beach in Iceland, with the black diamond ring she’d mentioned back when they were “just friends.”

 

In just three months time, we will re-visit black sand beaches (this time in Hawaii!), to become husband and wife. We would use the prize from America's Favorite Couple towards our wedding day.
